On March 16, San Francisco issued a shelter-in-place health order to slow the spread of COVID-19. All core services of the Assessor’s Office remains available to the public through online and telephone operations. Unfortunately, in-person services are not currently available. We encourage you to use our online services: e-recording of documents, e-filing for businesses, self-help resources on our website or emailing us at email@example.com.
Our Office is excited to announce the launch of our new recording system to replace the obsolete CRiis system. The new system will increase operational efficiency, modernize IT infrastructure, and reduce recording errors and omissions.
Every year in July, our Office will mail a Notice of Assessed Value (NAV) to property owners to let them know their properties' taxable values for upcoming tax bills. Check out our NAV Information Sheet this year for the latest property tax information and community resources under COVID-19.
